Krabi Island Trip - Explore south of Thailand
1 Day in Bangkok
Arriving in Bangkok in the morning, I took a taxi to my hotel, where I stayed for one night before heading to Krabi. Since it was around Christmas time, I wanted to make the most of my short stay and explore a few places in the city.
First, I discovered a fantastic Thai restaurant serving delicious, authentic Thai food at very reasonable prices. The flavors were incredible, and it was a great introduction to the city's vibrant food scene.
For dinner, I had planned to visit GEN, a popular Japanese restaurant. Unfortunately, it was fully booked, so I'll definitely make sure to return another time.
Later, I headed to Brown Sugar, a cozy jazz bar known for its live music and great atmosphere. The jazz performances were a treat, and the food there was surprisingly good, making for a relaxing and enjoyable evening.
It was a delightful evening in Bangkok, even though I didn't get to check off everything on my list—I'll be sure to return!
From Bangkok to Krabi
Flying from Bangkok to Krabi is a quick and convenient way to travel between these two destinations in Thailand. Krabi International Airport (KBV): Located about 15 km from Krabi Town and about 40 minutes by car from popular areas like Ao Nang.
To get from Krabi International Airport (KBV) to Ao Nang Beach, there are several transportation options available. The distance is approximately 25–30 km, and the journey usually takes around 30 to 45 minutes, depending on traffic.
