VUNG TAU ESCAPADE: RELAX, SAVOR, AND EXPLORE

Vung Tau is situated in the southern of Vietnam, approximately 200 kilometers from HCM city. There are several transportation options for getting to Vung Tau such as travel by bus, boat or driving motorbike. Our journey took three hours to by car, with a ticket price of 150,000 VND per person. However, I would not recommend traveling by car, as it is both time-consuming and the experience is not enjoyable.  

We searched accomodation through Agoda while traveling in the car. Plus Hotel seemed like a good choice because it is in the centre and reasonable price, especially for a last-minutes booking. 

DAY 1 - EVENING CHILL OUT 

DINNER – DI SAU 2 – SOUR BAMBOO SHOOT WITH STINGRAY  

After checking  into the hotel, we headed to “BÀ SÁU 2” restaurant. It’s famous for sour bamboo shoot hotspot of stingray.  While driving motorbike along the bustling street, we noticed numerous restaurants offer this significant local hotpot. In this area, Minh Hoang’s restaurant appreared to be more popular choice among tourists due to its fame on Tiktok.  

We opted for Bà Sáu 2 restaurant as it offered more spacious seating and was less crowded, providing a more comfortable dining experience. The security staff were welcoming, adding to the pleasant ambiance of the venue. In addition to the signature hotpot, we decided to try a refreshing fish salad to complement our meal. The total expenditure for dinner amounted to 500,000 VND, which we found to be reasonable for the quality and variety of dishes. 

COFFE – SUN AND SEA 1  

After finishing dinner, we drove our motobike along the beach to chill out. I have visited the city few times but now it seemed more develope with many high building and busier with tourism. Driving motorbike along the beach is kind of enjoyable experience that we felt the sea, the windy touch our hair and especially the freshair.  

We stopped in the SEA AND SUN coffee shop as its decoration is more impresive. It is not only on the beachside but also offer green trees that ‘s more enjoyable. 

MUSIC ON THE BEACHSIDE  

It was 10 pm that early to go sleep. Our planning was to go to the bar but the vibes of bar on beachside did not touch our feeling. finally we ended up sitting on the beach with snack, beers and chips, enjoy the simplicity of the nature. 

DAY 2 – BREAKFAST – DRIVING AND COFFEE WITH MARINA
