Accommodation: 

There are many hotels in Galway, but i would highly recommend to find the hotel around the city which is convenient to walk around. My first night was booked in the Dean Hotel with price is 139 Euro. The room is beautiful. They also have gym, swimming pool, rooftop restaurant and bar. 

Another night i move to hotel which is closer to the town. Booking fee is around 80 and the room isn't really nice. 

The hotel here is from 100 euro to 200 euro but you also can consider the hostel with cheaper price. Can check out the hostel at hostelworld.com 

Things to do in Galway: 

To be honest, my first trip in Europe is not easy. And even though i keep telling myself it will be alright, I still worry about how i handle things. Everything is new, the bus, the train...I've got to learn.

8.5 Hours day trip to visit Aran Island and Cliff of Moher

i bought a ferry ticket from Getyourguide to spend a day visiting aran island and cliff of Mohers. it 

The cliff of Moher

The Cliffs of Moher is one the most popular tourist attractions to visit in Ireland but what you might not know is that they are steeped in tales of ancient Irish myth and tradition. 

The Mermaid of Moher

A local man was fishing at the Cliffs of Moher and noticed a mermaid.

He struck up a conversation with her but soon set his sights on her magic cloak. As the two talked, the man grabbed the cloak and ran to his house.

Needing the cloak to make her return to the sea, the mermaid followed the man back to his house but couldn’t find the cloak for it was well hidden. With little options left, the mermaid agreed to marry the man and the two would soon have a son and daughter together. However, the mermaid would not forget her magic cloak.

Years later, while the man was out fishing, the mermaid found her cloak, left for the sea, and the man, nor their kids ever saw her again.
